Homecoming Tailgate Party Fuels Blue Devil Spirit
Beecher, Illinois (October 2, 2012) - The weather was perfect and the grill was hot for the Annual Homecoming Tailgate Party on Friday, September 28 at First Community Bank and Trust in Peotone. Over 440 hot dogs and bratwurst, along with chips, popcorn and pop, were served to the hungry fans that showed up for this free event.
"Peotone High School Football, especially Homecoming, has always rallied the community. We are thrilled to be a part of the Homecoming activities and hope to see even more fans at our event next year," said the bank's Senior Vice President Tammy Hoffman.
In addition to the free food, attendees could get their spirit on with Blue Devil Tattoos and sign up to win the raffle prize of a soft-sided cooler, insulated mugs and $50 in Booster Bucks, redeemable for Peotone Spirit wear at the Booster Club's stand at the football game. Announced during the varsity game, the winner of the raffle was Tracy K. Nelson of Peotone.
This is the third year the bank has sponsored this community event.
