Power Not a Problem for Peotone Facility
Peotone, Illinois (July 25, 2012) - Have you ever been at a bank when the power goes out? When that happens, it is nearly impossible to complete even the simplest transaction. Because of their highly-automated operations, banks require a reliable source of power. Without power, obviously the equipment won't work. This can be very frustrating for both employees and customers.
To address this issue, First Community Bank and Trust recently installed a generator at its Peotone facility. The gas-powered generator will instantly provide the necessary energy to keep operations up and running in the event of a power interruption. This will ensure the bank's ability to serve its customers in times of need. The bank installed a generator at its Beecher location in 2008.
"Anticipating the unexpected is not only good business practice, it is an integral part of our overall business plan to make sure our customers’ information remains safe, intact and accessible no matter what misfortune strikes," said First Community Bank and Trust's President & CEO Greg Ohlendorf.
