Gold Club Dinner Focuses on Fitness and Seniors

Beecher, Illinois - May 27, 2011 - On Wednesday, May 25, over 150 members of First Community Bank and Trust's Gold Club arrived at the American Legion Hall in Beecher for the semi-annual dinner hosted by the bank. The featured speaker was Tanya Anders from the METT/St. James Community Health Center located in Beecher, Illinois. She is 2010 graduate of Governors State University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Although Tanya has been working for almost a year as a physical therapist, she has been with METT/St. James Community Health Center for over 10 years, working in different capacities while obtaining her degrees. Her presentation focused on the benefits and types of exercise for seniors. The clinic specializes in rehabilitative care and offers free screenings for pain and injuries.

Following the presentation, the guests enjoyed a delicious dinner of beef sandwiches, salads, chips, dessert and beverages. First Community Bank and Trust's Gold Club offers many benefits to its members, including these semi-annual dinners (one in the spring, one in the fall), increased rates on CDs, free check offers, affordable day trips, and other incentives. The Gold Club dinners feature a different presentation each time and offer a great night out to socialize with friends, dine on great food and perhaps learn a thing or two. Bank customers who are interested in joining the Gold Club may contact Irene Brothers at 708.946.2246.
